On July 6, 2024, at the Legal Forum of the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference held in Shanghai, the Guidelines for Humanoid Robot Governance (“the Guidelines”) were officially released. The Shanghai Law Society, the National-Local Joint Human-Robot Innovation Center, the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Standardization Technical Committee, and the Shanghai Court Digital Economy Judicial Research and Practice (Jiading) Base jointly drafted the Guidelines.
